Hello Walden families,

Please read this email in it's entirety as it contains important information regarding meet attendance and volunteering.

The ability to go in and let us know which meets your swimmer(s) will attend is now live. We need every family to go to the team website and let us know if there swimmer will be attending the meet. NOTE: If you do not declare your swimmer as attending, they will not be placed in events and they will not be able to be added to the meet after the deadline. The deadline to declare for each meet is the Tuesday prior to the meet. All declarations must be in by 9 p.m. so our coaches can assign events to swimmers by the league's entry deadline.

When declaring for the meet, please also sign up for a volunteer position. It is a requirement of each Walden swim team family to fulfill one volunteer position at each meet they have a swimmer attending. I know some families have smaller children that makes volunteering hard but we are a smaller team than usual this year, so we will need all families to provide one volunteer in order to fulfill all of the roles we are required to staff per league bylaws. Please note we will not be able to split volunteer shifts for home meets this year due our numbers.

If you have older children who are not on the team but need service hours for a high school club, we are happy to sign off on volunteer hours if they come help us at any of our meets.

Walden has a long-standing reputation throughout the league of putting on the best home meets and I know we have a great group of families that will help us live up to that legacy again this year. Thank you in advance for helping us make this an amazing swim season for our swimmers.
