Hello Walden families,

Please find attached the meet program for tomorrow's meet at South River Colony. The meet will begin at 8 a.m., with Walden warm ups taking beginning at 7:30 a.m.

South River Colony asked me to relay the following regarding parking and spectating:

GENERAL INFO: 

• Our pool address is 40 Colony Crossing, Edgewater MD 21037. We have a small parking lot, so most families will need to park on the street. Please direct families to NOT park in the golf club parking lot or in cul de sacs, to obey posted parking signage and to not block driveways. Most people have no trouble finding a spot along Colony Crossing and walk a few minutes along the neighborhood sidewalks to get to the pool. Be mindful that stray golf balls can become a potential hazard when parking along Colony Crossing. Hopefully only the good golfers will be out this weekend! 

• There is plenty of grassy area around the pool deck and we recommend advising your team to take advantage of the space. There are some chairs available for seating on the pool deck, but it gets crowded and we recommend families bring chairs if desired. There isn’t much shade, and tents and umbrellas are welcome in the grassy areas. 

• There is to be no swimming in the baby pool, or in the shallow end of the pool during the meet. 

• We have a well stocked concession stand open during the meet that accepts cash and Venmo only. It’s located to the left of the pool house when facing it from the pool deck. There will be breakfast items, burgers and hot dogs from the grill, taco in a bag, various drinks, chips, and snack items available. 

South River has around 140 swimmers this year so tomorrow's meet will run longer than last week's meet. Looking at the meet timing, we should still be finished around 11:30 a.m.

If you were not able to make it to practice today but will be at the meet tomorrow, come find me as I will have your swimmer's team T-shirt to give to them tomorrow.
