Hello Walden families,

This is a reminder that declarations for Saturday's meet need to be in by 9 p.m. tonight. This will give Coach Chas enough time to create our entries by the swap deadline. Please also sign up for a volunteer position at this time. Since we are away, all volunteer assignments are for only half the meet.

As a note, the Evergreen pool is not deep enough for diving starts so all races will begin with in-water starts. The league has a formula for adjusting these times, similar to when we swim at 20-yard pools. Please talk with your swimmers about the fact that recorded times will be slower than normal, but times will be adjusted in the results. If they ask for their time when they exit the pool, it will be several seconds slower than their typical times.

The meet program and details will be emailed on Friday. If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.
