Hi Walden families,

With our first meet on Saturday, I wanted to remind everyone that's it time for you to go in and declare whether your swimmer will be at the upcoming meet. We require all swimmers that are participating to let us know by Tuesday night, so our coaches can assign swimmers to their events before the league entry swap deadline. 

To declare your swimmer using the Swimtopia App:

• Click on the meet you'd like to declare for
• Click the Meet Sign Up button
• Click the Edit button
• Select whether your swimmer is Attending or Not Attending
• Click the Save button

From the team website:

• Click the meet under the 2026 Meet Schedule sidebar
• Click the Meet Entry button
• Click the Edit button
• Select whether your swimmer is Attending or Not Attending
• Click the Save button

All of the meets are currently open, so you can go in and declare now, as you will be able to make any changes until the deadline. If you have something come up after a deadline, please let me know so we can work with the other team to approve changes.

Any swimmer not declared as attending a meet will not be entered into that meet, so it is important you go in and declare your swimmers as attending.

While you are doing that, please also sign up for a volunteer commitment for each meet. Remember, it is the expectation that each family provides a volunteer for each meet their swimmer attends. We have a small team and need everyone to help. If you have older children that are not on the swim team but need volunteer hours for any school clubs they are part of, I am happy to sign off on service hours if they come help us.

You can sign up for Volunteer positions using the same steps as above, just select the Job Sign Up button in place of the Meet Entry button.
